TIESThe White Star Dray Line, which operates a fleet of trucks in the local transfer business as well as the transportation of freight between the Clyde Line docks at Astor and all the communities in Lake county, has been purchased by Ed. R. Carter, of this city. George R. Wheeler handled the transaction. It is understood stood Mr. Carter will make additions to the dray line and will have the management of the business under his personal direction. The White Star Dray Line has built up a splendid reputation for prompt and efficient service and is said to enjoy the largest transfer patronage in this vicinifcy.
