FAMILY RENUIONSOH THE MOUHTAIH TOPUp on Harmonica Point on theWasatch 13 the plaefe where the Hansenfamily held their reunion on the 24thA good number of them live at Ferronand some at Manti so it was even breakon distance and the place has all thegrandeur of native mountain sceneryon ideal parlor with landscapes paintedby the great architect of the universeHere the families from the differentsides of the range held their three days oficommunion and revived the old memones of days gone by interspersed withtrout fishingj excursions ^nd the otherdelights of lire on the hiljs Those who were there are* as followsThe families of J H Hansen*1 HansHansen Lafayette Hansen John MeDonald J M Nelson all of FerronThe families of Peter H MaddenMayor Wm B Lowry Niels JorgensonGeo B Cox Wm Cox all of Mantiand a family from Monroe also LeoHefen and wife The latter is aphotographer and took many views ofthe party under different circumstancesand of the scenery round about themAt the same tune and at near thesame place the Cox family had asimilar reunion Besides all of theCox family and connections from Ferron there was present The familiesof Fred Cox James Tatman and LewisCox from Manti Mrs Chas Christensen of Salt Lake Mrs Chas Whitlockof Spanish Fork and others All report n good time good fishing andbeautiful scenery One of the goodthings that may come of these renuionsis that the people from the other sidehave been aroused in the matter ofbuilding a road across the rangeMayor Wm B Lowry and one of thecouncilman from Manti were there andexpressed themselves as determinednow to work for a road in good earnest
