TWO ARRESTS MADEDeputy Sheriff Britton and Ashby Spicer Charged With MurderClaimed They and Jett Killed Jim Cockrill.CHARLES GREENS TESTIMONY.He Was Brought From Lexington Under Escort of Soldiers to Appear Before the Grand Jory.Jackson, Ky., Inly sjr-The special grand jury adjoined this morning. Indictments against three boys accused ol ambush and wounding John Tur-net nine months sgo, were returned this afternoon One Isa nephew of Sheriff Ed Callaham. A previous grand Jnry refused to Indict them except on a misdemeanor charge.Police Judge Cardwell lasued warrants (or the attest ot Will Brltt©«, deputy sheriff, end Asbnry Spicer, s kinsman of Ed Callahan, charged them with the murder ol lira Cockrill. The men were arrested by details ol soldiers at their house. Chailse Green, of Lexington, an exile becuase of knowledge of the killing ot Cock-rill, was brought her under an escort ot soldiers as a witness and testified before the grand jnry this afternoon that he saw Jett and two others shoot Cockrell trom the second-story window of the court house. He was standing on the street talking to Cockrill. He claimed he did not know the names of Jett's companions, but could identity them. Being excused Green started beck to Lexington, bat on the orders of Jndge Red-wine was taken from the train and bronght back to camp. He will be given an opportunity to identlfiy the men under arrest, Spicer and Britton, to-morrow.L. T- Bolin, who testifed before the Breathlett county grand jury in (he Kwen bribery case that had heard Gardner Plummer offer Ewer a tribe to reiuae to teatlfy against Jett and White, has been compelled to leave Jackson. A warning message waa aent to him laat night through the wife ol Gardner Plummer, who Bolin ■wore was the emissary of Harris and Callahan, In offering the tribe. Bolin Immediately Informed Gen. Murray of the treatment and the order to flee, and before daybreak he was escorted to the train by a grand of soldiers and went to lexlngton, where a son resides.
