MORE ARRESTS MADE.Confectioner and Fruit Dealer Kept Open on Sunday.METHODISTS MAKING WAR.Samuel Chapman Continues His Crusade Against Sunday Business and is Backed by His Brethren—Who’s Next? The expected has happened*Sam Chapman did as be said hewould do.He is going to make everybody quit business in Princeton on Sunday or make aristocrats of the Justices ofthe Peace.JTbe arrest of Hayes Taylor the North End grocer, was but a starter, and Mr* Taylor attributes Mr. Chapman’s piety to a bit of malice held againBt Mr. T. by Mr. C. But it seemB that if it is malice then Mr. Chapman has a bit of rancor in his bosom for Ed. Hallett, the confectioner, and Mike Russo, the fruitdealer. It is customary the world over for confectioners and fruit dealers to sell their wares on the Sabbath day but it seems that Princeton iB goinjc to break away from this custom.Mr. Chapman today filed affidavits against Mr. Hallett and Mr. Russo in ’Squire Oorder’s court and Constable Murphy hauled the business men up. The Hallett trial is set for this evening with the following Methodists as witnesses: E. Scott Alexander and Mrs. Alexander, Dr. Mary Mills and Miss Mary Stewart. Mr. Russo’s case will come up about the same timewith Donald W. Duncan, the lawyer, and Deputy Marsha] John W. Trible,as witnesses. And it is said that more are to follow. And there’s going to be a hot time in the old town.
