Onondaga Park, the latest addition to - the public places in the city of Syracuse, will be the second park 211 area in tills city. Burnet park, the noble benefac-t; tion of the kite John B. Burnet, contains 125 acres. 2D fieres of it in original rores-r. and the remainder k\U\ out in scientific park-way by Bdgerton. the landscape gardener, and developed by-Park Superintendent Bishop. Its great- j est need is a water supply, which bow j should be furnished from the city's! works. Onondaga park, with its two 1 capacious reservoirs, may bo made superior in respect to water facilities- A part of the lands (ten acres) borders on the Onondaga creek, and may be utilized for special purposes, that of a zoo being indicated as one of them. The eminence on the high ground may bo made a carousal fully equal in sightly view to that of Burnet park or of Woodbind, at the city water works reservoir.
