Indianapolis ship two years ago today, July 30, 1945. One more sad and lonely year has passed. And still our hearts with aching pain has never eased. For John William you was one of the best. Always you was so kind and loving More and more each day we miss you Every minute of each day. We miss the things you used to do and say, But you are always near us darling For always our thoughts are of you where ever we may be. Not always Can eyes see us Weep. But many a tear is shed while others are asleep. And we pray for God to guide When our sorrow is too great to bear. And hope of earthly joy grows dim, still there is comfort even then, if we only trust in him. That sometime, somewhere we must meet. Sadly missed by Mother and Daddy. pa.
