ALVAH WIGGINAlvah A. Wiggin, the son of Alonzo nnd Hannah Witham Wiggin was born in Milton, N. H, July 4, 1859 and died in Wakefield July 10, 1920.His father enlisted in the Civil War in 1862 nnd never returned home.He was united in marriage in 188G with Etta N. Taylor who died 12 years ago. Of this union there were born two sons, one of whom, Alvnh Taylor, survives him. Frank having died in infancy.Out of a family of four children, a brother John W., and a sister, Mrs. Walter G. Stuart of Rochester survive him.Mr. Wiggin spent 44 years in the employ of the Boston and Maine, 22 years of this as a section foreman.He was a good quiet citizen who did his work well and took a keen interest in his home and in the community.He was well liked by those who worked under him in his chosen field.It is no idle word to say he will be greatly missed.The funeral services were held at the Methodist church in SanbornviUe under the direction of Lord and Ken-nett, with the Pastor of the church, S. B. Enman officiating.
