Noble Young Lady Passed Away Tuesday Morning. On last Tuesday morning at eleven o’clock the grim reaper en tered the home of one of our oldest and best known citizens, and plucked its fairest flower. At that hour the angels of death paused by the bedside of Miss Rena Bouchelle and claimed her for its own. A fairer flower was never gathered. Miss Bouchelle was stricken with typhoid fever several weeks ago, and for some time her case was known to be serious, as she struggled between life and death while her many friends hoped for the the best. For a while it was thought their hopes would be real ized, but on Monday evening the sad news spread that she was steadily growing worse and on Tuesday morning in spite of all that skilled physicians, attentive nursing and the devoted and lov ing attendance of the family could do, her spirit passed away. She was a devoted daughter, a trie and loving sister, and a con sistant member of the Methodist church. To number her friends was to number her acquaintances, she ever proved loyal to each of then. Miss Bouchelle was highly ac complished and refined and of splendid ability. Her’s was a life so true, so pure that it commanded the admiration and respect of the highest and the lowest. In her death Thomasville has lost one of her noblest women and will be bet ter for her having spent her short life among its citizens. She is survived by her father Dr. L. B. Bouchelle, one sister Mrs. Henry Wight and three’ brothers Dr. Louis, Horace P., and Fred Bouchelle. The feuneral services were con ducted at the family residence on Remington ave. at three o’clock Wednesday, afternoon by Rev. J. A. Thomas, pastor of the Meth odist church, assisted by Rev. A. M. Williams presiding elder of the Thomasville district. Imediately after the services the remains were escorted to Laurel Hill cemetery followed by a large concourse of grief stricken relatives and friends, where they were tenderly laid to rest in the family lot. The deepest sympathy, of the entire community goes out to the grief, stricken family. May our Heavenly Father shower His bless ings on the bowed head of her de voted father and his entire family. We extend to them ,our heartfelt sympathy in this sad hour of their bereavement.
