C., fronting on Burrard Inlet.The President and Managing Director and Secretary-^!'rcasurer are both practical mechanics and understand thoroughly the work to be taken iu hand.The commercial standing ol the men who are interested 111 McDougall, Jenkins, Engineers, Ltd., gives assurance that its allairs will be managed 111 a business-like way, and the laet that these men have pledged their time and money into the enterprise proves beyond a doubt that tie proposition is worthy ol attention and serious consideration. Not one oi these gentlemen have what is commonly known as promotion stock. Every share oi slock issued by the company is fully paid up. iliere is no promotion stock. Neither is there any preferredstock. ' A ^The company controls two hundred feet oi waterfrontage on Burrard Inlet, with a depth oi three hundred feet. The area ol the ground, sixty thousand square feci, provides ior a large plant. Ihc water oi the Inlet at this point is deep enough to accommodate the largest! vessels. I his property is leased ior twenty years undei very iavorable terms, and with an option oi buying at the expiration ol that time at the assessed value ol the property.The hrst building to be erected will be three hundred feet by eighty feet, leaving a dear span ol sixty feet. The entire length ol the building will be traveled by an electric crane, with a lilting capacity ol forty thousand pounds, making every portion oi Unbuilding accessible, besides being a great time saver. The crane will be the largest in British Columbia.The boiler shop will be equipped with a modern hydraulic Hanging and riveting outfit, a punch and shears with a forty inch depth ol throat, an air compressor of a capacity ol one hundred and thirty-live cubic feet, pneumatic hammers and drills, a radial drill, a set ol heavy duty rolls, and a pair ol sheet iron rolls.The machine shop will also be equipped with most modern machinery and appliances.The foundry will have facilities for making easting. up to aeveu tons 111 one piece.The blacksmith shop will be equipped with a modern steam hammer and suitable jib-cranes to faiili-it the rapid handling of all WOrk.When ready for business the plant will give employment to seventy skilled mechanics and ultimately uni linn Ircd and lilts will b« needed Negotiations are now being carried on between the city ol North Vancouver and McDougall, Jenkins, Engineers, Ltd., by which water will be supplied by the municipality at a nominal figure. The municipal council has expressed itself as prepared to do this. Co., McKenzie Bros., Ltd., the Terminal Steamship Co., and the Sechell Steamship Co., are all operating good-sued llccts, to say nothing oi other companies and individuals operating, trading and towing steamers, tugs and launches.Apart from the shipping end ol the business, the demand for stationary engines, boilers, loghauls, etc., is growing with the exploitation of the timber, mineral and fishing wealth, and the continual growth of the many other industries of British Columbia.The cities of this province must extend their system of water supply. This will necessitate a large amount of steel piping. Tin plant of McDougall, Jenkins, Engineers, Ltd., will In capable of turning out all supplies for this class of w ork.Every person having a knowledge of boiler making, shipbuilding and repairing and general marine and stationary engine repairing is aware of the prolits earned m the performance of this work. It is a very poorly hUted plant that does not distribute twenty per cent yearly amongst its shareholders. Some plants are able to pay substantial dividends on one or two small jobs, and other plants which are well equipped and under the management ol men who go after llicir work instead of w ailing for it to come to them, are paying dividends which run from twenty-live to over fifty jar cent, jar year. This is an absolute lad, and an investigation on your part will prove it. The men who arc directing the affairs of McDougall, Jenkins, Engineers, Ltd., have been successful in their diflerent undertakings. They are well known as business getters, and il conscientious work will retain any patronage acquired, the success of McDougall, Jenkins, Engineers, Ltd , is assured.To date about thirty thousaud dollars has been subscribed for stock iu McDougall, Jenkins, Engineers, Ltd., at par value. The remainder of the stock in the treasury is offered at its par value, one dollar per share, on easy payments ol a quarter cash, and the balance iu three equal payments, thirty, sixty and ninety days lroui date of first instalment.Please fill out the blank for as many shares as you care to take and mail, or send to the brokers, together with cheque for first payment.
