PUBLIC MEETING*Tiic Committee appointed to receive propnaals for building ft Free Mceiing House in Liberty, Indiana, met at the Court House on Friday the 20th of July, 183G, at 10 o’clock A. M.On motion, Thomas Henderson was appointed Chairman of said Committee, and James Perry, Secretary.Georgo Williams handed in a proposal for building said house,On motion of Wilson Bragg, it fs order* ed, that John Yaryan shall recoUe written sealed proposals, until Wednesday next at 3 o’clock, A. M., that said proposals be kept sealed, and that they shall be present* ed to the Committee at their next meeting.On motion it is further ordered, that one third of the contract price shall bo paid down to tho contractor on the 1st day of September next,—one third on the 1st day of January, and one third when tho house is finished: And that the undertaker shall give bond and approved security for tho completion of the work before the first day of May next in a good and workman like manner.On motion the Socretaiy was ordered to publish the above proceedings; and then the Committee adjourned until Wednesday at 3 o’clock.THOMAS HENDERSON, Ch'mn.James Pejibt , Secretary;N.
