JACKSON (AP) — A man wanted for murder if Jasper County was arrested by the FBI on an offshore oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico Saturday, authorities said. Jamie T. Jones, 26, is facing capi tol murder charges for the June killing of Marty Joseph Brady dur ing a robbery in Jasper County, spe cial agent in charge James E. Keesler said Saturday. Keesler said a federal arrest war rant was issued Friday for Jones. Jones was employed as a galley hand on the oil rig. FBI agents from Jackson were flown to the rig in a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter and Jones was arrested without inci dent. Keesler said Jones was flown to Picayune and turned over to the Jasper County Sheriffs office and Mississippi Highway Patrol. Brady, 23, was shot once in the head around 6 p.m. on June 8 at Brady’s Country Store in Moss, while helping his sister close the store.
