Jim Ragan of Piker’s Goodyear Service is the 1975 Zenas Smith League batting champion with a robust .442 mark. Ragan rapped out 42 hits in 95 times at bat in edging Liberty’s Rob Cox for the title. Cox was 43-of-98 for .439. There were two other .400 hitters. Bobby Narron of Jerry’s U.S. Mart was 41-of-95 for .432 and Bruce Christian of Jerry’s 31-of-73 for .425.
