This being the case the actual work of hoisting the pole will not be done until Friday and possibly not until Saturday. Tho exact time will be announced tomorrow.Arrangements have bean- made with the street car company to have the hoisting power furnished by on*of the electric cars.Those In charge of the work state that everybody will be welcome to witness the hoisting of tbs big stick, but that all must keep at each e distance as to bo out of danger In case of accident and as not to Interferewith the workmen.The placing of the rigging In theavenue and the presence of the pole there will practically close tho street for a time and tboee who ha^oe-ration to croee the railway will tuts* to reach Alma street by way of I.ytton or Hamilton.
