Says the Wichita Suicide of Same Name Was in No Way Re lated to Him Special to The New York Times. BALTIMORE, July 28:—The dispatch from Wichita, Kan., stating that Herbert B. Stimpson, son of Prof. Stimpson, the fa mous naturalist, late Director of the Chi cago Academy of Sciences, and committed suicide after having been arrested for em bezzgiement, proves to be incorrect. Prof. William Stimpson,was a “mem ber of the National Academy of Sciences and left two] sons, William Gordon Stimpson, Passed Assistant Surgeon, Unit ed States Marine Hospital Service, and Her bert Baird Stimpson, a lawyer practicing in the City of Baltimore. Herbert B. Stimpson states that the pe son who com mitted suicide at Wichita was in no way connected with or related to William Stimpson.
