L Domlny, ot Beekman-town Corners, whose eightieth birthday was celebrated Friday, July 15th.The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Domlny took advantage of this occasion to express to them their good wishes and esteem. Q A. Hamilton, a former much loved pastor. As the truth lawned upon him of what the occasion meant, th andold face beamed with pleasure, and this kindlysmile rested upon all assembled, like a uedic-tior. After tea, the party gathered in the parlor to witness the presentation to Mr. anc Mrs. Domlny of a pair of beautiful upholstered easy chairs. The presentation was made In most appropriate language by Deacon Joel Barber, ana was responded to by Mr. Domlny in tender to Jhlng words that brought tears to the eyes of the assembled crowd Prayer was offered by the pastor, Rev. N. McLeod short season of merry converse followed, and then the part; separated, each happy in the memory of the 3cene just witnessed _Mr. Domlny Is the oldest active member of the Presbyterian church of Beckman town.
