They procured a quail • tity of tpuwn and traveled all over tho Pacific Coast, leaving a plant in any lake or pond which had no outlet and of which the water was warm enough to suit tho habits of the dangerous fish. It is supposed that they came through this section, but 110 results of their visit have yet been seen. At Mono Lake they boasted of their sport and the monsters may live in the deep waters until they become dangerous.
