OBITUARY'Died at his late residence in Ridge township on Tuesday, July 28. 1857, of Typhoid Fever, Mr. Thomas Gilliland ;the deceased was one of the first settlersin this county, and has long enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him ; he was a generous neighbor, a warm hearted lriend and an exemplary Mason.The funeral Ceremony will take place on to-morrow morning under the direction of the Masonic Fraturnity ; the procession will move from the house of the deceased at 10 o’clock A. M., and proceed to the Presbyterian Chuich in this place where a Funeral Cermon will be preached by theRev. Thos Flcock.
