»t11 Norwich Man Sights UFO“It moved so fast and was so bright it practically blinded you were the words of Louis f Daubert when asked about an un. identified flying object he watched for approximately five minutes.Daubert of 6 Willard Court, an employee of the Norwich Phar-macal Company, said he spotted the object about 9 p.m. last night and watched it hover about 50 feet from the ground before “it shot out three beams of bright light and took off” at a high rate of speed. He said the object resembled aluminum and had a luminous edge.Daubert said he spotted the object Just off Shawler Brook Road as he was driving to a nearby Girl Scout camp to pick up one of his children when he sighted “a bright shiny object about 25 feet in diameter which was hanging in mid-air”.Daubert said, because of its great speed and its brightness, he had no idea as to the way it moved, although he said that it was noiseless.When asked whether he had ever seen anything of this sort before, he replied “never”.Daubert said he reported the incident to the state police because “I thought they should know about it”.w t r't
