HOWELL.Departed ths life Tuesday,the 25th inst., Walter G. Howell, aged 29 years The deceased had been a victim of that dreaded disease, tuberculosis, and had sought relief and euro for tiie past year, first at Covington, La.,and nfteward at Asheville, N.C., but to no avail.Mr. Howell Is survived by his wife and one child,who have lost a devoted husband and loving father, and their eoriow is assauged by the knowledge that their loved one is waiting on the other shore for them tc cro^s over and 4 * rest under the shade. In their bereavement, the stricken wife and child and other relatives ha\e the deep sympathy of many friends in Laurel and elsewhere.The funeral took place yesterday from the home of Mr. Curry Howell,thu services being conducted by Rev.It. L. Campbell of Hattiesburg. A largo number of sorrowing friends accompanied the remains to Hickory Grove cemetery, where all that was mortal of Walter G. Howell was laid to rest to await the dawn of the Resurrection Morn. 2
