(Correspondence to The Tost.)It \s oar sad, duty to chronicle the deaths of two of oar o'd and respected residents, Mrs. Griffin-Hall, formerly of Norland, who died at the residence ofher son. James Griffin; lot 22, on the2nd con. at Somerville, on the morning'of the 22nd; and Mr*. J. Bowens, whodied very suddenly on the Rorningr ofthe 21»t. The former's remains wereinterred in 1’ine Grove cemetery, Nor-lan I on Monday, the 2ltb beside the body of her former husband. Mr. J. Griffin. Mrs. Bowens was buried at Victoria Road, in the U. C. cemetery. Both funeral* were exceptionally large The bereaved have (ho heartfelt *vm-pathy of the entire community.The botm* of Mr.' R. Buy w.t* made joyful on Monday last by the appear-
