JOHN L. PITCHER TAKEN BY DEATHJohn L. Pitcher, 580 Bender Avenue, died early Friday evening at the Spencer hospital after a brief illness. Death was caused by pneumonia. Mr. Pitcher, who was bornin Wisconsin, on April 8, 1859, was 76 years of age.Survivors are his wife, Mrs. J. L. Pitcher; three daughters, Anna of Spencer, Mrs. Art Anderson of I Spencer, and Mrs. O. R. Elscott of New Sharon; three sons, Walter of Spencer, Dale of Waterloo and Jack of East Orange, N. J.; ten grandchildren; one brother, Homer of Spirit Lake; and three sisters, Belie Pitcher of Spencer, Mrs. Dolly Walker of Spencer and Mrs. C. A. Ciaypoo! of Brainerd, Minn.All of the relatives with the exception of Jack will arrive here tonight and Sunday for the funeral services, which will be held at three o'clock from the Pitcher home. Burial will be made -in the Milford cemetery.
