Says Petitioners Can't Withdraw Names NowiCharles F. Miller, county superintendent of schools, Thursday afternoon ruled that residents of School District No. 4 (Dunlap) could not withdraw their signatures to a petition for the consolidation of the rural school of that district with others, and the erection of a consolidated school building. The superintendent held that the signers had waited too long - had allowed their time of grace to expire; especially as the trustee had proceeded with details of the consolidation. The case was considered by districts, residents of several districts having filed similarjpeti-tions. It was thought that following the above ruling in regard to No. 4 the hearings on the cases of the other districts would be brief. It is proposed to erect two buildings, of a total cost of $90, -000—one at Dunlap and the other in what is known as the Rowe district.
