xvioiz wno aiea at nis nome Monday morning the community has lost a highly respected citizen.Mr. Klotz, the son of Fred and Christina Klotz, was horn in Gnissau, Schleswig Holstein, Germany July 10, 18*76. At the age of six he came to this country with his parents who settled in Luana. Six years later they moved to Fredericksburg where he resided until the time of his going making a total of sixty-three years.On March 15, 1903 he and Miss Hattie Milne exchanged marriage vows. The first six years of their married life were spent on the Milne homestead four and one-fourth miles east of Fredericksburg. Is 1909 they moved to the farm two and three-quarters east of here now owned and' operated by their son, Uoyd. He was a prominent farmer and stockman.In 1930 he and Mrs. Klotz retired and moved into townMr. and Mrs. Klotz were the parents of eight children, two of whom, Frederick and Elmer, died In infancy. Those remaining besides his wife are four sons Edwin and Lloyd of Fredericksburg; Rev: Lyle Klotz of Bellfontame, Ohio; and Rev. Alvin Klotz of Waka, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. O. F. Schwab of Deerfield, 111. and Mrs.
