*8'r 3? Jib funeral of Mrs. Edith Ryder* wife of Myron Ryder occurred on Wednesday afternoon at two oolook from her late mSidefice west'6£ the oity and was very largely attended. B-ev.. J- B, Walton offioiated and the burial occurred in the Ceresco cemetery. The floral offering was very beautiful and included a magnificent boqnet of carnations from Mr. and Mrs. iFarnum, ft pillow made of roBes and bearing . the inscription “Edith,*’ from Mr* and Mrs. Haskell* and a beantifnl design from the K. O. T, M. Mrs. Ryde* Was bom Deo. 18, 1875, font'miles South of this oity and died at 10:59 p. m. On July- 32. She hi met Mr. Byderat Traverse Oity and r 1 was married to him Deo. 17, 1895. The cause of her death was a critical operation performed by W. B. Church of San Franoisco, Oak, on the morning of her death. He was assisated by Dr. S. K. Church and Drs. Joy* Houston and Harris were witnesses to the operation. i Miss Loie Osborn, a professional nurse from the Battle Greek sanitarium was | also present and did every thing possible for her patient in her last hours.Mrs. Ryder has been Sick for the paat three yearB but had bad spells only occasionally. She was treated by nine different physicians, her disease being purulent salpingitis. Dr. Church, wno attended her last, did all in his power to i oure her but the disease had taken its course.
