JOHNSON Call and Post Staff Reporter CINCINNATI -- This year's Coors Light Riverfront Stadium Festival will also mark the first ever Queen City's Taste of Ebone’, an event targeted to festival patrons as well as City residents to sample to first fruits of the world. The brainchild of Debbie Boone, presi dent of Events Unlimited, Taste of Ebone, will feature two days of food, fun and a musical smorgasbord in the oasis of Pratt Park on Garfield Place on July 27-28. Food samples from area ethnic res taurants, priced up to $2.50, will offer a taste of the different culture that make up of the first fruits” of the world, representing some of the longest continuing cultures. Taste-goers can experience Indian, Chinese and other ethnic cuisines. Additionally, there will be a variety of entertainment including storytellers, face painting, tarot ,card readings and several different kinds of live music ranging from blues, RB, oldies and top 40. A special performance by the award-winning Stridet tes Drill Team rounds out the venue. A special touch to the family event will be the absence of alcohol. Boone put in over a year to pull Eoone’ together. I got a lot of support from so many people, says Boone. One of her most ardent supporters was the Santangelo Group, producers of the stadium festival. Other sponsors include WCIN radio station and Young Enterprises.
