The shock from the injury along with complications caused his death.He was the son of Thomas and Sarah Lane, born January Jsl 1B70. m Spring Creek township.On August 24th, 1R97, he married Pearl Kirkpatrick. lie is .sutvivcd by his wife, who Jives in Waterloo and the following children George, Waterloo; Mrs Chas Shroycr, San Jose, Calif; II Leroy, Bureau, 111.; Mrs. Ted Ohrl. Waterloo. Mrs. Wm Axtell, Renbenk- Mrs C. C. Lasley, Wa-^ terloo, Milton, La Porte City.Also twenty-two grandchdd-ren. seven grral grandchildren and two sisters survive, Mrs J?s. Kephart, Ricevillc, la, and Mrs. Will Cole. ML Auburn.A small son three brothers, Ihice sisters and his parents preceded him in death Funeral services were conducted at the Johamiscn funeral home on Monday at 2 20 p. m with Rev. C O. Jensen officiating. Mr. and Mrs Clifford Burr sang selections, accompanied by Mrs C A.
