All Had Big TimeEdgar Camp, Howard Smith, Ray-mond Mowery and Charles Ecklund have returned from a two weeks' stay at Barlowe Lake. “Sparky” Smith’s famous machine safely conveyed the boys on their journey. Edgar “Swede” Camp reports that he caught a six pound bass (sounds like a fish story.) Charles “Bus” Ecklund caught a half inch sardine (in a can, I suppose.) Raymond and Howard were so busy trying to learn the square and barn dances (so as to become favorites of the pretty lassies there) that they didn’t have time to try their luck at fishing. Although the boys are home now, their thoughts are far away, somewhere in Barlowe,Michigan.
