M., Tuesday, the 5th day of August, 1913, at which hour the bids will be publicly opened and read. The Town board of Trustees will then proceed to consider all bids and award tbe contract to the lowest and best responsible bidder, but the right is hereby reserved to reject any and all bids.Contractors desiring to bid upon this work may examine the plans and specifications and receive proposal blanks for bidding, either at the office of the Town Clerk and Recorder, Ordway, Colorado, or at the office of Qeorge H. Sethman, 250 Equitable Building,'Denver, Colorado.The Engineer’s estimate of the work to be done Us follows:8,050‘lloear feet 12-Inch pipe sewer.2.200 lioear feet 10-Inch pipe sewer.15,700 linear feet 8-inch pipe sewer.200 linear feet 12-Inch standard castiron pipe.2.200 linear feet f inch galvanized pipe.3 Inspection holes complete with rings and covers.52 Manholes complete with rings and covers.11 300 gallon flush tanks.1 Septic Tank.16 6-Inch “Y’s”off 12 Inch pipe.50 6-Inch ••Y’s’’ off 10-inch pipe.475 6 inch “Y’s” off 8-inch pipe.Dirt work on 12-inch sewer. Average cut 6 1 feet.Dirt work on 10-lnchsewer. Average cut 7.1 feet.Dirt work on 8-Inch sewer. Average cut 6.8 feet.The esLi mated cost of the above work to be constructed as now compiled by the Engineer. Is as follows:Total cost of construction to a finished result, 817,500.00.Incidentals, engineering, etc., 82,100.00.Total cost, 819,600.00.Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check upon some reliable bank, in tbe sum of One Thousand (1,000.00) Dollars, payable to the Town Treasurer of the Town of Ordway, and guaranteeing that If the proposal is accepted the bidder will, within ten (10) days after being notified of. such acceptance, enter Into a contract aod give good and sufficient bond, signed by such surety or sureties n4 may be satisfactory to the Board of Trustees, In the amount of Five Thousand (5,000 00) Dollars. In case of failure to so enter Into a contract and give such bond, said check shall be forfeited to the Town as liquidated damages, otherwise to be returned to the bidder. The Contractor will be paid for the construction of said Sewerage System in legally Issued bonds of Sanitary Sewer District Number One, of the^Town of Ordway, Crowley County, Colorado.Dated this 25th day of July 1913, at Ordway, Colorado, by order of the Board of Trustees.A.
