ObituaryMaria L. Ginn was born Oct. 19, 1856 in Pulaski county, Ind., later moved with her parents to Tippecanoe county near Battle Ground thence to Monon, kuL'* where her girlhood and early womanhood were spent. At the age of sixteen years she united with the Baptist church. Faith in Christ and a trusting belief in all His teachings and the wisdom of His guidancewere an ever present help and comfort to her. On the 28th of December, 1873, she was united in marriage toFranklin T. Herron. To this union*were bora six children. Of tliese the eldest scm James E. and youngest daughter Frances M., with the husband, an adopted son, two grandchildren, the aged mother, two sisters and three brothers survive her. She lived m Monon until 1893* when her husband's work called him to Hammond, tod. They moved to that place, later when the Packing pliant at Hammond was closed, Mr. Hemra being employed iby the U. S. Government as an inspector was then changed to Chicago. In 1911 the family moved to that city.Mrs. Herron passed away July 15, 1913. The remains were taken from 1 the home at 5838 Union ave to Ham- j mond, Ind.’, thence to Monon, Ind., ] ! for interment in the Monon cemetery.
