Hundreds of curious people from all parts of the country have visited his house, and •the medical fraternity have thoroughly 'awakened to the marvelous nature of the case in their midst. Dr. Hasty says that^MarvePs fast is even more wonderful than that of Dr. TanUer’s, even if the former has taken a small quantity of nourishment in the way of milk only. Marvel is S5 years of age, and, of course, rapidly approaching that time of life when the worn-out body must succumb to the inevitable. But Dr. Tanner, at the time of his famous fast, was in the very prime of life, and had by a long course of preceding trials and experiment prepared himself for the great feat which he successfully accomplished. Dr. Hasty is inquiring the whereabouts of Dr. Tanner, and would like that ;vegetarian to personally investigate Mar-jvers case.
