Aftl on niuin:*#Death by accident has occurred in a number of instances. Iu 1851 Mr.Feathcrly was killed by a falling limb, while in the wood a east of Danforth Bugbees Corners. In 1800 Mr. Joles was killed by lightening; not far from that time old Mr. Diddle was killedwhile falling a tree, in the southwest j part of the town. A young man by' the name of Ward was killed by falling j outo a pitch fork, in the south part of j the town. The explosion of a steam j boiler iu a saw mill on the farm of j Charles Burt, iu the southeast part of the town in 1872 killed four aud injured a number of others. In the northeast part of the town, violent death by piemeditated violence, oconrred Feb.6th, 1876; Horace A. Burnett was the victim, Jaoob Stevick the criiniual.
