Steam Bouil'splioioi).On the third hist., a terrible Steamboat explosion occurred near Oskosh, in this State. Berlin City and Pearl were on a race, when the boiler of the former exploded and killed four persons outright, and wounded several others. Capt. Brown, of Berlin and the Engineer were killed. The clerk was badly injured.Lend.Several very fine specimens of float lead have been found in the village of Stockholm, in this county. From the various specimens which have been shown us, one of which is now before us, and from the geological appearance of the bluffs we are constrained to believe that large bo.'lies of mineral are to be found ill the vicinity of Stockholm.JLuiubcr,Messrs. Manning Hill are in receipt of a large quantity of lumber, which indicates that a number of new buildings will be commenced in this vil-Vlagc very soon.
