Rites Held For Mrs. Edmonson At Union ChurchFuneral services for Mrs. Lucy Davis Edmonson, 52, were held Monday at 5 p. m. in the Union Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Doglas Green officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. E. H. Dunn Sr., retired. Interment was in the church cemetery.A life time resident of Taylor County, Mrs. Edmonson was born December 10, 1911, the daughter of the late Walter and Susie Boswell Davis. She was the widow of W. C. Edmonson.She died in the U. S. Army Hospital of Fort McPherson at 5:05 p. m., Saturday following an illness of several months.Surviving are three sons, Milton Edmonson of Forest Park, Clarence and Jerre Edmonson of the U. S. Navy; her mother, Mrs. Susie Davis of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. J. Sanders Vann of Byron and Mrs. W. T. Trawick of Butler; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers were Gary Trawick, John Clark, M. L. Ballard, Wanza Davis, Sanders Vann and Tom Taunton.
