Try Apple Rolls Served With Milk or Cream Mrs. Myrtle Mohney, Buchtel, has been serving apple rolls for many years. When it is served with milk or cream, it is very tasty. APPLE ROLLS Roll 114 cups sugar and 2 cups water. Make dough as follows: 2 cups flour,% teaspoon salt, 4 tea spoons baking powder, 2 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons shortening, 1 egg,4 cup milk. Roll about 4 inch thick and cover with apples (4 or 5) which have been peeled and sliced thin, Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and roll, Cut about 1% inch thick, Put the syrup in a pan and place the rolls in it, Then bake, Serve with milk or cream, Feed Russian Tea Is Ideal Summer Drink So many persons enjoy drinking feed tea during the summer, But they tire of the same kind of tea day after day!
