Was Well Known Resident In Eastern Plymouth. Mrs. Anton Delperdang, one of the well known residents of Plymouth county, residing six miles north of Remsen, died early yesterday morn ing after a long illness of hernia and other complications. Mrs. Delperdang had been suffering for many years and had taken treatments constantly with apparent good effect, but last Friday she suddenly was taken violently if and an operation was performed at the home last Sunday. For the next two days her condition seemed to improve but Tuesday evening there came a turn for the worse, and at four o’clock Wednesday morning she passed away. She was fifty-four years of age and besides her husband leaves two sons, three daughters, four brothers, one sister and her mother. Mrs. Anton Delperdang was born on a farm in Winneshiek county, Iowa, near the town of Festina, on February 2, 1868. She lived with her parents until she reached womanhood and mar ried Anton Delperdang at Festina. Mr. Delperdang was at that time farming north of Remsen, where the couple settled immediately after their mar riage, and where they have resided up to the present time. Besides her husband the deceased is survived by five children, as fol lows: Clara, Mrs. Jos. Majeres, of Remsen; George Desperdang, of Rem sen, and Vincent, Blanche and Martha at home. The oldest child of the fam ily, Hugo, died several years ago near Remsen, in an automobile accident. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Sudtelgte, of Fort Atkinson, In.; a glazer, Mrs. Annie Leibold, of Fort Atkinson, Iowa, and four brothers, August and Theodore Sudtelgte, of Remsen, Henry Sudtelgte, of Banning, Cal., and Fred Sudtelgte, of Clear Lake, Minn. The funeral will be held Friday morning at nine o'clock, with services in St. Mary’s Catholic church, Alton. Thieves entered the residence of Chris Molten in Johnson township on Wednesday evening while she was away from home, and stole some sup plies out of his cellar. The LeMars baseball team will play at Alton next Sunday.
