Maschger, a prominent St Paul physician, thirty years old, a graduate of the University of Minnesota, at one time an interne in Mayo hospital in Rochester, a student abroad and master of several languages, a member of the University and the Minnesota Boat clubs, popular among his friends, but spoken of as an eccentric sort of person, was found dead in a room in the Radis-son hotel at Minneapolis.On the table beside him tvere several small vials, one containing morphine tablets, another morphine and atropine tablets, another turpentine and another water. With them was a pnysiclan’s hypodermic syringeThe coroner decided it was a case of suicide.
