T. T. D. C. Y. K. Club.The young; ladies of Greenwood have organized a T. T. D. C. Y. K. society. What these initials represent is only known to members of the club. Sufficient has been learned about the organization however to state that the objects of the society look towards mutual improvement and entertainment. Books for a library are to be secured, also a croquet set and other forms of amusement. The first meeting of the society was held at the residence of Mrs. Fisher on Wednesday last, when the following officers were elected : President, Miss Maud Butler; treasurer, Miss Dorothy Fisher ; librarian, Miss Julia Fisher.At the first meeting refreshments were served and a very pleasant afternoon was spent. The club is evidently not afraid of elections, for one of its by-laws is to the effect that officers are to be elected monthly. The club meets every Wednesday, the meetings to be held at the houses of the members.
