great V'^uaijuiy ui vjuuua jii ujs way or iraue.On Saturday the i^thlnftant, between Six and Nine of the Clock in the Evening, the Houle of Sir Kenrick Clayton, Bart. at Marden in Surry, was fet on Fire, which, it is apprehended, was done in order to burn down and de-ftroy the whole. Houle; and alfo that a Cabinet therein was broke open; their Excellencies, the Lords juftices, for the better difcovering and. bringing to Juftice the Per-fon or Perfons who committed the laid Crime, are pleafed to promife his Majefty’s Pardon to any of the Offenders, who lhall difcove/his Accomplice or Accomplices, fo asthey, or any one or more of them, may be apprehended ana convitted thereof. And as a farther Encouragement Sir Kenrick Clayton promifes a Reward of 100I. to be paid upon the Conviftion of the Offender or Offenders.
