The First Baptist Church was the setting for the early evening double ring cere mony uniting. Linda Louise Sanford and Peter Raymond Gartner in marriage. The Rev. Donald L. Stout was officiating clergyman for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmet. Sanford of 1826 Temescal, Nor co, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gartner’ of Santa Ana. The July, 17th wedding was attended by 200 guests. Chet Farmer, ac companied by Mrs. Lorin Farmer, sang “The Wedding Prayer” and “Bn The End Of Time.” Baskets of pink, tinted gladioli and wMmhite stock flanked by. candelabras were featured in, the ,decorating, with nosegays of baby ivy and pink roses dotting the pews. Given in marriage by her father,” Miss’ “Sanford, de signed and made her lovely wedding gown of white.chif fon ever peau de soie high lighted , with pearl trimmed floral appliques. The fitted, bodices had a scooped neck line -and wrist length , tap ered .sleeves.* The floor length skirt was accented with a back bustle and chap el train. The shoulder length illusion veil was held by pearl trimmed fabric flow ers. The bridal bouquet was a cascade of ivy, white, chrysanthemums and pink roses. Joanne Sanford, sister of the bride, was maid of hon or and bridesmaids were Virginia Trimble and Janet Brown. The attendants « to the bride wore gowns, with pink silk bodices and floor length skirts of white eye let embroidery over satin, accented with a headpiece of a single fabric pink rose. Fach ‘carried a cascade of ivy..and... white, chrysanthe mums. Gary Burson served as best man. Richard Gartner, bro ther of the groom, and How ard Simpson, brother-in-law of the groom, were, ushers. A reception was held in the Fellowship Hall of the church after which the newlywed Mr., and Mrs. Gartner left for a wedding trip to San Francisco. They will’ live at: 12182 Peacock Court, apartment’ No. 6, Garden Grove. The bride ‘graduated from Corona High School in 1959 and was employed, until her marriage, ‘by the California Rehabilitation ‘Center.
