They were a highly respected pioneer family of the county having lived here 40 years, raising a fine family and doing much toward 'the uplife and betterment of the community in which they lived.Mrs. Cantrell was born in Van Bu- f ren, Arkansas, December 30, 1873. Two eons, Leonard, of Beggs, Okla., and ' Lewis of Vian survive as do two daughters, Mrs. Francis Hamlin and Miss Fanny Cantrell of Vian, also'two grandchildren, James and’ Margaret Hamlin of Vian, and one sister, Mrs.J, Little of Van BurenJ Ark,Funeral services Were Conducted by Rev, DeVins, Sunday at. 3 p.m. from the Baptist church in Vian with interment in the Vian cemetery, under the direction of the Wheeler-Steven-son Company of.
