Mr. Frank Krall, 84. Summoned By DeathMr. Frank Krall, 84, prominent retired Johnson- county farmer, passed away at his home south of Swisher about 4;30 o'clock Sunday morning following a brief illness.Mr. Krall was born in Bohemia, on April 19, 1852, and came to the United1 States in 1867, settling at Green Castle in Johnson county. As a young man, he was employed in the Amana mills, -On July 17, 1877, he was married to Miss Mary VeVevka of- Solon, and for 20 years he operated a general store at Ely. He held several offices, including the justice of the peace, and served on the school board. On numerous occasions he served as interpreter of the court.From Ely the Krali family moved to the present home south of Swisher.Besides his widow, Mhry, he is survived 'by two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Scorpii of Cedar Rapids, and Miss Elsa Krali at home; a son*, Frank J., of Cedar Rapids; a sister, 'Mrs. Mary Lopata of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.Funeral services were held at the Janejba and Brosh chapel in Cedar Rapids Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, with the Rev. Joseph, Bres and the Rev. T. Stewart in charge. Burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery at Solon.
