He had been in failing health for the last few years and his death was due to a complication of ailments.Mr. Brewer was the youngest son of the late Judge Nicholas Brewer and Catherine Musser Mediary, of Annapolis, and was born here Octoberliiasi, II03* UtStSJU avraiuuv* - ------to the State Normal School.8, 1844. His late illness began several weeks ago. Up to that time he was actively engaged in work. He was serving as a justice of the peace for Annapolis, having been appointed by Governor Goldsborough.When a boy Mr. Brewer attended St John's College. He remained there until the Civil War closed the institution. Later he settled in Vineland, N. J., but returned to Annapolis in 1876 and entered into real estate and insurance operations. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and RedMen.
