Perry, of Lawrencevllle, candidate for railroad commissioner, and W. C. Vereen, of Moultrie, president of the Georgia Federation of Commercial Bodies, but by a mistake In the make-up the names were transposed, the name of Mr. Perry appearing under that of Mr. Vereen, and vice versa.When he saw what had happened, Mr. Perry wrote to Mr. Vereen apologising. In a vein of pleasant humor, for the printer's error, Mr. Vereen promptly replied: I feel that I amthe one who la due you an apology. Continuing, Mr. Vereen said: Personally, I was very much pleased with the change that was made, hut at the time I mentioned to some friends that I presumed you would always have It In for me on account of this mistake. 1 think that I shall have to vote ] for you In order to even matters up.” , Candidate Perry Is now hoping that more of the same kind of errors will | be made.
