M. He was 51 years of age at the time of his death.Mr. Gillott was born January 29, 1903 in Fulton County, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Josephine BurnsGillott. On July 14, 1930 he wasunited in marriage to Maude Dobbs at Lewlstown.Mr. Gillott resided in Kingston Mines for a number of years before moving to Forest City. Hewas employed at the LaMarshMines. He was a member of theCoal Miners Union.Mr. Gillott is survived by his devoted wife; two sisters, Mrs.Laura Meyers, Peoria and Mrs. Charles High, Havana, and a host of other relatives and friends. ' Mr. Gillott lived quietly, finding -his joy in the simple things of life.He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Much of his spare time was spent with rod and gun in the timber and along the banks of a stream.He made friends easily wherever he went. He was especially fondof children being generous in his ,love and effection.Funeral services for Mr. Gillott were held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday in j
