Alf Brown Gets Fix Hat’s Famed OgopogoAlf Brown claims to be the first person in the city to produce a photograph of the famed Ogopogo, that fabulous animal which stirred up quite a bit of excitement in these parts several weeks ago. This “priceless” photo is now on display in a downtown store window. It’s a masterpiece, too.The viewer can see the large protruding teeth, the snaky skin, the large gleaming eye, three horns on the nape of the neck, the long eel-like body. The animal was swimming in the South Saskatchewan river just up from the Finlay bridge when the picture , was taken.Judging from the expression on Mr. Ogopogo’s face he doesn’t seem to be a vicious sort of character. One would think he came straight from a comic strip. . . . These camera men and their tricks!
