FUNERAL SERVICES HELD J0LY21 AT TWO O'CLOCKYA1FeatiTheSusie Elizabeth Burwell, daugb*-ter of James and Lavina Earles, was born in Unionville, Missouri, July 2, 1885, and passed away at her home in Browning, Missouri, July 18, 1943.She attended school and grew to womanhood in the Unionville neighborhood and at the age of 15 years she was united in marriage to Alonzo Oliver Carson. Three sons and one daughter *vere born to them, all of whom survive, they are Zora Carson of Cincinnati, Iowd, Kinnie and Nova Carson of Centerville, Iowa and Mrs. Pauline Edwards of North Kansas City, Missouri.In later life on March 9, 1930, Mrs. Carson was united in marriage to Jesse D. Burwell of Browning, Missouri, and since that time, they have made their home in Browning, where Mr. Burwell has served the community as post master of Browning for 3 years.Besides her.husband and children as mentioned, she is survived by her aged mother, Mrs. La-vina Earles of Unionville, Missouri, three step-daughters, Mrs. Mary A. Fahnders of Pekin, Illinois, Mrs. Elizabeth Erickson of Chicago and Virginia Burwell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one step-son, John W. Burwell of San Diego, California, two brothers, John Earles of Harris, Missouri, William Earles of Unionville., four sifters, Bessie Van Leu wen of Kansas City, Missouri, Nettie Gray of Tama, Iowa, Opal Hawk and Daisy Lowe of Centerville,Thlt; hcarc with Waite and i Minu Then hits, the f out o dull There missi start a whBe as a custc 8 a. close and untilTh meet Bula. bers At open “Cou the was readi by V flebe sc ere conti lor i favo We vIowa, three grandchildren, three jng \great grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and many other near relatives and friends.Mrs. Burwell has been a member of the Baptist Church since early girlhood, being baptised in that church, at Unionville.Funeral services were held yesterday, July 21, at the Methodist Church in Browning, at 2 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. J. Chappell. Song services ‘were furnished by a quartett compos-of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Bailey, Miss Nona Neet and W. W. Wilkison, with Mrs. J. H.
