Five Cents Per Copy./WINE NEWS ALONG LODEInteresting Accounts of Mines Located In Amador Co.ArgonautThe directors have decided to suspend the dividend payments tem-porarily. The stockholders were notified to that effect early this week. A monthly dividend of 5 cents per share has been paid regularly for some time, on the 20th of the month. The suspension notice was sent out before the 20th, so stockholders take it that there will be no payment this month. The ore bodies in the lower levels have developed in size, hut the quality of the ore has declined. In addition to this the litigation with the Kennedy Extension Company, has involved heavy expense in defending the suit. While the outlook for the mine was never brighter, it was thought advisable to quit paying dividends for the present. It is not yet decided when the big damage suit will be brought to trial.
