DUN COM BE.llans Clausen died at hiB home southwest of town, Saturday, at 1:30 o’clock a. in., death being due to consumption. Deceased was 38 years of age. lie was born in Denmark, December 3, 1804, lie immigrated to America with his parents in 1872. He was married to Martha Svensou in 1887. The end which ensued Saturday, though not unexpected, was doubly sad from the fact that a son was born to him but a few hours before. The funeral was held at the house Sunday and was conducted by the M. W. A. of which lie was a member. Deceased leaves a wife and G children, father, mother, and two brothers.Lightning sltuck the residence of Walter Smith Monday morning, wrecking it badly. The shock was felt by a number of the residents.Dr, Palmer was called to Duncombe, Sunday, to attend Mrs. Sim Jones.U. (.!. Daniels lias closed his feed mil) during the thrashing season.Miss Zelpha Van Devender is visiting with her aunt in Swea City.
