New Jersey Swains Have Trouble Over a Love Atty Pennentox, N. J., July 22—Early the morning the residents of North Pem berton were thrown into a state of ex citement by pintol firsts. A half hundred residents rushed out and found Jack Green and Fred Kuensler, two machinists employed at the Smith ville machine shops, in deadly combat, Kuensler was badly beaten and almost unconscious. The troubles of the young men result ed from a dispute Mout a girl named Foulkes, whom both visited. The previ ous night they met the girl, and both re mained until a late hour. On their re turn to Smithville they quarreled, and Kuensler fired his pistol—whether at Green or into the air is not known. J., July 22—Wm. R. Jenner, the beer bottler, who was ar rested some days ago for violating the liquor law in selling beer without an or der, was convicted before Judge Wickoff.
