For the Advertiser.At a meeting lield by the citizens of Coatsville and vicinity, in Hendricks county, Ind., on the evening of 7th month 11th, the following named persons were chosen as delegates to attend the State Convention at Indianapolis on the 13th inst., viz: Marcus Blair, John Bishop,Charles Barstow, Addison Osborn, David B. Blair; and the following resolutions were passed expressive of the sentimentsof that meeting:Resolved, That we are utterly opposed to the principle shown in the repeal of Missouri Compromise, accomplished by the passage of the infamous Nebraska bill, and that we wish hereby to express our unmingled sorrow and chagrin at the course pursued by our late Senators and a majority of our Representatives in Congress, in procuring the passage of; a bill •so disgraceful to a bible enlightened people, and so reckless of the future woes of our colored fellow'men: ’ ' *Resolved, That those Representatives
